End of an era

Something made me pull a couple photos of the good ole dinghy dock In Beaufort and paint it. I found out yesterday it's no longer there- replaced by the new state ferry operation. Forever gone is the place for the sailboaters to row in for provisions and where the local kids have cooled off in Taylor's creek for decades. So ends the Beaufort Bustle series- numbers 11 and12... Times they are a changin'

Still working on website, but here's a few

Website a bit more than I thought. Been doing a mix of studio work, on site watercolors, drawings, and larger oils. A fun way to create, but I need to get some work out there! These going to Adam Cave, and Carteret Contemporary Art.

The new computer is in, and I'm figuring it out- new site will begin being worked on over next week or so. But, I can do a few posts on my phone till then!

Here's one I've been out on site with twice, and the progress made. 22x28" oil on linen. Think it's about done.

I am preparing to redo my website, once my new computer arrives- my MacBook from 2006 will no longer allow me to run the site editor. Guess I've gotten all a can from her!
